‘A Summer in Sapa’ is about four months spent in Sapa by artist and writer Bridget March. She accepted an invitation to spend 4 months in the mountains from a guy she had never met because she cannot resist an adventure and because she knew that the work she produced could provide a sustainable income for some of the most underprivileged children in Vietnam.
The children, the warm people of the ethnic minorities and the talented artists of Sapa all taught Bridget a lot about love, laughter, life and painting. Some summers do last for ever.
Join us to celebrate the launch of ‘A Summer In Sapa’ at Vin Gallery. Bridget March will be there all day to chat about her book as well as her most recent exhibition.
